Joseph Mappilacherry

Joseph Mappilacherry was born on 17 November 1964. He completed PDC in 1983 from St. Berchman College Changanacherry. Joseph Mappilacherry worked as a Graphic Designer till 2003. He completed a Certificate course in Voice Dubbing from Sri Bharathy Poojapura Thiruvananthapuram. Joseph Mappilacherry worked as a Post Production Director cum dialogue translator for in-house productions on Amrita TV for movies Jacob, David, and Jesus and serials Mowgli, Tarzan, etc.

He dubbed in feature films, including re-dubbed versions of characters. Joseph Mappilacherry was dubbed in Malayalam serials, including re-dubbed versions for characters. He acted as Dutch General Vaan Goens in Pepper Vines, an adaptation of the late Uroob poem, presented before HH King Willem-Alexander and HH Queen Maxima of the Netherlands during their India visit. Joseph Mappilacherry participated in LDF Kala Jatha 2021 as the leading character in street plays. Joseph Mappilacherry acted in Magdalena Mariam (2021) telefilm by Sri Arun Bhandari.
