Her father‘s name is Valayil Joseph Varghese and her mother’s name is Mini Varghese. She also has a younger brother named “Becky Mary Valayil.” Her father worked in Nigeria in chemical company Drury Industries as Administrating Manager. So, she spent her initial days of young age at Nigeria till her father resigned his job. Anna’s father is from “Pakalomattam.” She completed her higher studies from Choice School situated in Tripunithara. Then she went to St. Theresa's College situated in Cochin to complete the degree of graduation.

She later moved to Australia and studied at Flying School Moorabbin Aviation Services to pursue her passion of becoming a pilot. She also went to Swinburne University to complete the post-graduation degree in Media Studies. Anna Katharina Valayil got married at the age of 28 to Ranjesh Jacob Chandy on February 2nd in the year 2013. Her husband is from Matteethra, Kottayam from an aristocratic family. He runs a catering business in Kerala and is a successful entrepreneur. They both have a beautiful daughter named “Raysha Maryann Chandy” who was born 4th March, 2014. She is currently three years old. Their second daughter was born in December 2015.

She started singing when she was in 6th standard. In her initial days, she used to sing ad jingles and background film scores for Gopi Sundar’s films.

Her debut film name was “Aakashavani” in which she was a music director, and directed a jazz song named "Kiliye." After completing her degree of post-graduation and training of pilot she came back from Melbourne to her hometown. Then she took up the duty to perform at her parent’s beach resort named “Marari” situated in Kerala. She used to perform in front of an International audience who had mixed preferences for music. According to her, music is a feeling and she wants everyone to experience and feel it.
