A. V. Anoop

Dr. A.V. Anoop is a Tamil and Malayalam movies producer and actor, and he is the Managing Director of the AVA Group as well as that of AVA CHOLAYIL HEALTH CARE PVT. LTD and AVA PROPERTIES PVT. LTD. He is the director of AVA GULF TRADING FZCO, Dubai, UAE as well. He is also the chairman of MAAC POWER RENTING A EQUIPMENTS LLC, Abu Dhabi, UAE. He was born on 30th April 1962 (57 years) in Thrissur, Kerala. He is a brilliant actor and businessman. He has received a total of 2 National Awards, 3 State Awards, 7 Business Awards and, 3 Social Service Awards.

He has produced some documentaries/short films also. He is the son of (Late) Shri. A.G. Vasavan and Smt. Lilly Bai. He has two sisters named Mrs. Anila Sudhir and Mrs. Anjali Ravi. His schooling was from St. Joseph’s Higher Secondary School and he completed his X Standard in the year 1977. Later he completed his B.Com from Mahatma Gandhi College under Kerala University in the year 1982. He further studied and pursued for Ph.D too. Later he got married to Mrs. Priya Anoop. They had two children named as Mrs. Lanchana Vivek and Mrs. Pratheeksha Prasanth.

He is a person who not only had interest in studies but also participated in various stage plays. He plays the flute too. He established a company in 2007 named AVA Productions. He started producing movies both in Malayalam and Tamil cinema industries and won awards for those films. He produced a total of 15 films and four documentaries/short films. This film made lyricist Shri. Rafique Ahamed and Supporting Actor Bharat Murali win the Kerala state award just because Anoop agreed to produce this movie. He has produced many documentaries also. This documentary earned a Kerala state award for the Best Documentary in 2007. Later again in the year 2008, he produced yet another Tamil short film named ‘App von Nayagan’ under the direction of Santosh Madhavan.

This short film received 56 National Film awards. Two of his movies also entered into Limca Book of Records. Those movies are ‘Aaron Sunday rima rude Katha’ and ‘Enna Satham Intha Neram’. He recently produced Ezra Malayalam in the year 2017 which is an Indian Malayalam horror drama. Dr. A.V. Anoop has role played as Secretary of The Malayalee Club of Chennai, and World Record by Limca Book of Records. Before he was entering into the cinema field, he joined Business in the year 1983.

He is also an Industrialist and has a diverse interest in reaching consumers all over the world with his products and service with excellent quality. He is the founder of the Ayurvedic Bath Soap Medimix. With this success of the branded bath soap Medimix he extended the products from soaps to hand wash and face wash, and he has also started his business in the health sector through Sanjeevanam (Ayurveda). Ayurveda is a one of its healthcare service center which is based and depends on the principles of Ayurveda, Naturopathy, and Yoga. A State-of-World class Ayurvedic Hospital is being constructed by him in Kochi at present.
