Girish A.D.

Girish A.D. (born in 1986), is known for his production, direction, acting, and screenplay writing in Malayalam movies. He was born in the Chalakudi district of Kerala to his mother, Geetha, and father, Dineshan. Girish completed his schooling at St. Sebastians HSS, Kuttikkad, and completed his B.Tech from METS School of Engineering. 

Girish started his journey in movies by directing short movies. Yashpal made his first short movie directional debut in 2017. From here, there was no rest. His other directions were Vishuddha Ambrose and Mookutthi. Girish debuted his acting career in 2017 with a short role in Porattam, directed by Bilahati K.  Raj. In 2018, Girish shifted his focus to writing and debuted as a movie writer in his film Allu Ramendram, also directed by Bilahati K.  Raj. 

Girish got married on June 23, 2019 to Chippy Vishwan. Just after his marriage, Girish debuted with his directional movie Thanner Mathan Dinangal (Translation: Watermelon Days). The romantic comedy gave him fame and recognition. From this point on, there was no moving back. The actor made super hit movies like Super Sharanya in 2022. The latest direction of Girish, Premalu, released on February 9, 2024, is gaining fame among audiences with his fresh and unique concept.
