Suchitra Mohanlal Mohan Lal is the Super Star of the Malayalam film >> Read More... , the Mollywood film producer, was born in Chennai as Suchitra Balaji. She is the daughter of popular Tamil actor cum producer “K. Balaji” and Anandavalli. Suchitra’s family has the ancestral origin from Palakkad. Suchitra has a sister named Sujatha and a brother named Suresh Balaji. Balaji’s production company, Sujatha Cine Arts was named after his elder daughter Sujatha. During her college days, Suchitra fell in love with “Mohanlal,” who was the heartthrob of the youngsters at that time. She had been sending bouquets and cards to the actor frequently.

Suchitra also expressed her love on Mohanlal directly to him, when she got a chance to meet the star. Mohanlal, who was impressed by her affection towards him, discussed his marriage with his parents. Both of the families exchanged the horoscopes. But, sadly the horoscopes didn’t match. After the incident, Mohanlal forgot everything and continued his career. But, Suchitra waited for him and rejected the marriage offers brought by her parents. Stunned by her love and affection on him, Mohanlal decided to marry her, throwing all the horoscope predictions. Both of them tied the knot at Attukkal Bhagavathy Temple on 28th April 1988.
