Christa Kala is a budding playback singer in the Malayalam industry who hails from Kochi, Kerala. She pursued B.A Music from Maharajas College. She was passionate about music since childhood. She came into the industry through reality shows. Her first reality show was Junior idol. People started to recognize her after participating in the reality show ‘Sa re ga ma pa.’ Her biggest dream is to become a playback singer. She met Gopi Sundar before participating in ‘Sa re ga ma pa.’ One of her friends recommended her to Gopi Sundar to do a chorus in one of his songs.

He was quite impressed by her voice. After that, he called her to come to his studio to record a song for him. She was excited as it was something unexpected. She sang the ‘18 vayasil’ song (Uyare movie). That was her first debut in the industry. She got appreciation from many singers for that song. She was also featured in the official video song. After that, she sang many other tracks for Malayalam movies. Though she dreamt of entering the music industry, she never thought it would be this early.
