We would have heard how many famous stars launch their kids into the cinema world so they can also make an identity for themselves, but in the case of Subhash it was a bit different. He did not plan to enter the industry. It was his wife who introduced him to the Malayalam TV series. Subhash Balakrishnan had his own business in the capital city of Oman, Muscat. He visits his family every few months and it was during one of these visits that the director of the television serial Sauparnika, Subhash's wife was cast into had seen Subhash and asked him to play a major part in the series. As Subhash had a little experience in doing some shows for the Doordarshan channel before starting his business, he just wanted to try his luck. He had gained popularity with his character and became a star overnight. When asked how it was to act with other co-artists than his wife, he says that his wife gets a little jealous of them but never discourages him from trying anything new to improvise himself. Subhash's business is growing fast in abroad and plans to extend it in India too in the future.
