Amala Gireesan

Amala Gireesan is an actress from the Malayalam Television industry. She worked in many of the successful daily soap operas and has also been part of some movies in her career span. The actress was born and brought up in Trivandrum, Kerala, where she studied Engineering at LBS Institute of Technology for Women in 2012. She did her schooling from the St. Mary’s higher secondary school in Pattom. Her career started with a bang when she participated in star war youth carnival who starred Roshan Andrews, Sithara and Sreeran as the juries for the show.

This fest became auspicious for her as her shows director spotted her on the fest and offered her the serial. She debuted in the television industry with the show Sparsam. In this show, the character’s father is an ex-musician and she is a theatre enthusiast with a flair for music. Other than famous serials, the lady worked in one of the hit movies also named Monayi Engane Aanaayi with the talented Bhagat Manuel as her co-star. The film got directed by one of the best directors named Santosh Khan and depicts the story of a villager Monayi, whose life-long adventures in the city turn into threats endangering the lives of his friends.
