Jeyamohan is once again in the news.
But this time, it is for different reasons. He is all praises for the recently released ‘Aadujeevitham’, which he terms as the authentic representation of Malayalam culture, and the struggles faced by Malayali people outside India.
So, what is the big deal about it? Jeyamohan is an acclaimed author, who is well known in both Kerala and Tamil Nadu. However, his outspoken nature has also invited controversies more than once. Only a few weeks ago, Jeyamohan had written an article online, which infuriated several Malayalam movie fans, who demanded an unconditional apology.
In that article, Jeyamohan criticized the success of ‘Manjummel Boys’, holding it responsible for the downfall of Malayalam culture. He not only mocked the concept of the film, but also took jibes at the people who went to watch the movie. It was another matter that the movie went on to earn more than 220 crores worldwide.
Interestingly, Jeyamohan is also one of the co-writers of the much awaited ‘Indian 2’, which is directed by S Shankar, and stars
