Manjummel Boys Crosses 200 Crore!

When ‘Manjummel Boys’ was released on 22^nd February, nobody thought about the level of success this small film would achieve.

Cut to March 2024, and ‘Manjummel Boys’ has rewritten the history of Malayalam cinema. It has not only beaten ‘ 2018 Click to look into! >> Read More... ’ in terms of lifetime collections but has also breached the coveted mark of 200 crores in terms of worldwide collections, the first to do so. Previously, the highest-grossing Malayalam film overall was ‘2018’, which earned a total of almost 175 crores from overall collections. The movie was even sent for the Oscars as an official entry, though it didn’t make it to the nomination list.

‘Manjummel Boys’ was written and directed by Chidambaram S Poduval. Based on true events, this depicts the journey of a batch of youngsters, who visit the Gunaa caves, and how a fun trip becomes a quest for survival when one of the group members gets trapped.
