The movie depicts the life of people staying at Mumbai's traffic signal. The movie features Kunal Khemu as a lead role.

Plot:

Life in Mumbai is fast. But once in a while, it slows down or is hindered by traffic signals. People who work at the traffic signals to earn their daily wages gave hafta (an amount of money collected by gangsters) to the manager Silsila (Kunal Khemu).

The chain is way too long. Silsila provides the money to local don Jaffar, who reports to a big Mafia, Haji Bhaijaan. Silsila never questions the decisions made by Jaffar and Haji Bhaijaan, he tends to follow them. This turned him into a cruel murderer and got involved in many illegal activities.

His life suddenly goes in the dark, and the people related to the signal are destroyed. Everything seems to stop just like the red signal.

Analysis:

Madhur Bhandarkar is a director with great potential to deliver hits. This film worked wonders for him. This film also won an award adding up the icing to the cake.

Star performances:

Kunal Khemu plays a promising role at his best. He indulges so well in the character. He manages to catch our eyes and hearts too.

He plays a character of the manager, who takes hafta from people working at traffic signals. Suddenly his life goes off track due to some illegal activities by him.

There are hardly any flaws and loopholes in the film.
