Plot

LLB revolves around two students from Kasaragod, Sibi, and Salman, who reach Kozhikode to study law. They’re joined by Sanju and initially have the time of their lives. However, a couple of incidents transform their lives. How will the three cope up with it?

Star Performances

If there is something worth remembering about this film, it is the musical score and the visuals.

Bijibal has done a fine job with the musical score, if not the soundtrack. So has Faisal Ali, who is handling the cinematography of this film.

Analysis

On the same day as ‘Mrudhu Bhave Dhruda Kruthye,’ comes a thriller cum drama ‘LLB: Lifeline of Bachelors,’ that explores both the college life of three law students and the impact of some incidents on the same.

However, there is a difference. While the former is a taut thriller, which balances both emotions and the thrills carefully, the latter suffers from a serious identity crisis. At one point, it seems like a legal version of ‘ 3 Idiots Click to look into! >> Read More... ’. At other moments, the film takes dark turns but is confused about which path to tread.

Writer cum director AM Sidhique aimed to make a story balanced with emotions and fun. However, he ended up missing both targets. The screenplay, despite the initial promise, hardly provides anything new. The narrative is disturbed by songs at regular intervals, and unlike a film directed by either Priyadarshan or Gautham Vasudev Menon, isn’t relevant to the context either.

The acting performances are a mixed bag as well. While some like Aswanth Lal, and Anoop Menon, give their best, others like Sreenath Bhasi disappoint with their portrayals. Verdict

‘LLB: Lifeline of Bachelors’ is a slice-of-life film that could have done wonders. However, the execution by AM Sidhique didn’t match his vision. The acting by some of the supporting actors, apart from the visuals and the musical score somehow made this film watchable.
