Plot
Tomy is a male pet dog. Tomy’s family loves meat. Amalu is another female dog. Her family is religious. Her family is vegetarian. Her family comes from Palakkad. Her family calls themselves Iyer. Also, they call their dog Amalu Iyer. Tomy develops a crush on Amalu. The rooster always teases Tomy whenever they see Amalu going to walk. The other dogs in the locality also tease Tomy whenever they see Amalu. Amalu also started liking Tomy. But their families do not like each because of their religious differences. Tomy is sad when he knows that his family will not allow him to have a relationship with Amalu. Rooster suggested that they should run away from their families. What will happen to Tomy and Amalu? Will they run away from their families? The rest of the story deals with it.
Star Performance
Roshan Mathew did an incredible performance in the film. His journey to live a happy life and, at the time, save other dogs was brilliant. His detailing of the character was outstanding. His voice acting and dialogue delivery was perfect. One would love him after watching this movie. He that much impact he made in the whole film. Raveena Ravi did a fantastic performance in the movie. She shows the nature of a true lover. Her chemistry with Roshan Mathew was excellent in the film. Her voice acting was factual, and natural. Soubin Shahir, Sunny Wayne, Indrans, Saiju Kurup, Surabhi Lakshmi and Aju Varghese did a performed remarkably in the film. Major Ravi’s cameo was outstanding and unexpected at the same time. All the other actors were as good as the main lead actors.
Analysis
The storyline of the film was great, romantic, interesting, and entertaining –the film focus on the central theme of romance and animal rights. The film is inspired by real-life situations that are happening in Kerala. The animals and their rights are now ignoring these days. The film’s main focus was to show these problems in a very romantic way. The comic nature of the movie is maintained from the start till the end. The storyline in the film was interesting. The direction, cinematography, and costume design were perfect in the movie. The filmmakers use very less animation to make the film realistic. The animals shown in the film are well-trained. The background music and songs play a significant role in the movie. The music is so calming to hear. The dialogues were excellent.
