Jon Ferguson Cox Mohr, popularly known as Jay Mohr, an American actor. He is also a radio host, and comedian. Born in Verona, New Jersey on August 23, 1970,

Mohr is famous for his role in Ghost Whisperers as Professor Rick Rayne. Born to a nurse Iva Jean (nee Ferguson) and Marketing executive John Wood Mohr, Jay is a Roman Catholic. He is married twice, first with model Nicole Chamberlain. After six years, they got divorced. He has son, Jackson with Nicole. After that, he married actress Nikki Cox on 29 December, 2006. He has a son named Meredith Daniel Mohr, from Nikki. Mohr’s career began in 1992, with Camp Wilder, where he played a Dorfman. In 1995, he played Matt in The Barefoot Executive. In 2003, Mohr was the presenter and executive producer of Last Comic Standing. Jay Mohr is very active on the radio show The Jim Rome Show, where he is popularly known as Slam man. He also hosted his podcast on SModcast Network, Mohr Stories. The actor announced his departure from the same on 4 May, 2012.

He wrote a book based on his life on the sets of Saturday Night Live, in June, 2004. No Wonder My Parents Drank: Tales From a Stand Up Dad, published by Simon & Schuster in May, 2010. Then there was Gasping for Airtime: Two years in the trenches of Saturday Night Live. Hyperion was the publisher of this book. In November, 2016 Mohr hosted the show Los Angeles Rams, which telecasting on KABC TV.
