Simrit Brar

Simrit Brar is a Hindi Creative Director at Siegel + Gale based in Los Angeles, California. She speaks Hindi and Punjabi. She graduated from Parsons School of Design with an MFA in Design and Technology. She was a part-time faculty at this university. She also received her Master’s in Communication Design. She has spent more than a decade as a consultant for many companies to help them rebrand and has a client roster that includes many Fortune 500 companies. She has created many promotional print campaigns for prominent Bollywood features.

One of her major clients in the Bollywood scene was “Lagaan” which was nominated at the Oscars for Best Foreign Film in 2002. She was a publicity designer on films like Qayamat: City Under Threat, Aks, and Kucch To Hai. She was also the costume director at Khwahish. Her work is featured in many books and museums and it has become a permanent collection in Victoria & Albert Museum in London. She is currently an Advisory Board member of the American Institute of Graphic Arts in Los Angeles. She was featured in Adweek’s Creative 100 in the category “The Names You Need to Know Right Now" back in 2017.
