Rajdeep Sarkar is a wonderfully talented actor and producer working in the Bengali cinema industry. Rajdeep has been acting for quite a while. He has acted in theatre plays, TV and most famously recently, he has started out in the film industry. Rajdeep usually appears in the typical traditional Bengali roles. During his theatre days too he would portray certain roles that exude Bengali culture. In 2018 he made his debut as an actor in Antorshotta, a drama about a lonely writer who grew up with just one friend, Misti. She rejects him for someone else and years later Misti is divorced and they meet again, and then is when the passions start to come back.
The same year, Rajdeep debuted as a producer too with Watchmaker, a mind-blowing film about 3 people, one whose concept of time is flowing in reverse, the other’s is not moving at all and third one’s time doesn’t exist at all. These 3 weird people meet and something explosive follows. In 2020, Rajdeep appeared in a short film Shree and I. He is currently filming two other films. Tui Amar is in the post production stages and Pratiwandi which shall release in 2021 is in the final stages of making.
