AK Puthussery is an 84-year-old writer who was born on the 19th of January 1935. He resides at Kochi, Kerala which is also his hometown. He graduated from the Kerala University at Thiruvananthapuram. His wife’s name is Philomena. They have four sons namely, Dr. Jolly Puthussery, Roy Puthussery, Baijju Puthussery and Naveen Puthussery who is also a scriptwriter.
AK Puthussery has published about 78 books of which a few are Yagam: Natakam and Thalamurakal. He also has a lot of passion for directing and acting. He has written scripts for movies such as Eeyampattakal which released in 2018 and Krishna Paksha Kilikal which released in the year 2002 for which he has also written dialogues.
