Bharani Gopinath

Bharani Gopinath is an Indian Director, Music Composer, and Actor who predominantly works in the Tamil film industry. He was born on 21 June 1986 in the small village of Virudhunagar near Tanjore in Tamil Nadu. Bharani Gopinath is the eldest son in a family of three brothers. One of his younger brothers’ names is Kishore Gopinath. Bharani Gopinath studied at a local school up until class ten. Even during his school days, Bharani Gopinath’s creative spirit shone through as he actively composed songs.

After completing his schooling, Bharani Gopinath's passion for the arts brought him to Chennai in 1989, where he sought the opportunity to pursue his dreams. He received his bachelor’s degree in Science from D.G. Vaishnav College at Arumbakkam and graduated with a specialization in Computers. After that, he studied filmmaking at L V Prasad Film and TV Academy. Initially known by his real name, Gunasekaran, Bharani Gopinath made his mark in the industry as a lyricist.

One of his notable achievements during this phase was writing Vijay's first on-screen song for the movie "Naalaiya Theerpu.’ He has since composed songs for other Tamil films such as 'Sutrula' (2014), 'Mutham' (2002), and 'Priya Nestama' (2002). This early success was just the beginning of a promising career that would see him transition into filmmaking.
