S D S Yogi

S.D.S Yogi, well known as S.D Subramania Yogi, was profoundly known for his contribution as a director, a producer, and a screenplay writer in the Tamil Film Industry. He is known for writing poems and has written some beautiful poetries. He was born on the 30th of November in the year 1904. Yogi came from a family of poets. He has written many poems portraying and supporting Indian nationalism.

Yogi wrote many poems supporting this cause during that era.Yogi published his first-ever collection of poetries in the year 1934, while he was a student. He has completed his studies from Erode Mahajana High School. He is titled 'Bhala Bharathi' by the people because of his mavellousliterary skills. Later, he began writing scripts for the Tamil Film industry. He is amongst those individuals who played a pivotal role in promoting Indian nationalism.

His famous work as a scriptwriter includes Krishna bhakti, Lakshmi, IruSahodargal, in the year 1948, 1953, and 1936. He has also directed films such as Krishnakumar and Adishtam, in the year 1941 and 1939. He was also a known lyricist who wrote several songs for Tamil movies. Yogi's finest achievement include, his work being nationalized or being recognized by the Tamil Nadu’s Government, in the year 2000. This eminent personality died at the age of a hundred and fifteen (115).
