Irupathiyonnaam Noottaandu is an adventure cum romantic action entertainer scripted and directed by Arun Gopy. Tomichan Mulakuppadam produced the film under his banner Mulakuppadam Films. Gopi Sundar is the music composer for Irupathiyonnaam Noottaandu. Abinandhan Ramanujam cranked the camera and Vivek Harshan edited the film. Peter Hein is the action choreographer. The film stars with Pranav Mohanlal, Gokul Suresh, Zaya David, “Manoj K Jayan,” Abhirav Janan, Dhanrmajan Bolgatty, Biju Kuttan, Kalabhavan Shajon, Harish Raj, “ Siddique,” Innocent Vincent, Tini Tom and Antony Perumbavoor.
Baba runs a homestay in Goa. His son Appu runs a watersports business. He knows well about his father’s underworld connections. A girl from Kerala enters into their lives and it makes their lives travel in a different path. What happens to the father and son? Did Appu leave his father? Watch the film in theaters!
Manoj has done justice to his role. He is very natural with his expressions. Pranav has improved a lot from his previous movie. He fits in the role well and impresses us. Zaya has done a neat work and gives tough to her contemporaries. Kalabhavan Shajon, Dharmajan and the rest of the characters played their part well. Gokul appears in a cameo role and completes his work with finesse.
The film comes with a bold story and Arun has narrated it well. The characterization is superb and the cast selection is good. The film comes with a message and yes, it deals with the social issues soundly and neatly. Humor content is added in the right proportion. The music and the cinematography are good. The rest of the technical and production works are done efficiently.
What’s Not There?
Irupathiyonnaam Noottaandu comes with the communal issue tag. Although it seems to be an old fashioned story that moves at a slow pace, the way it was dealt with is neat and appreciable. Irupathiyonnaam Noottaandu – onetime watch!
