Due to the disinterest of both their families during the course of wedding preparations, the couple gets confused about how to take the marriage forward. What happens next? What did they decide? Did their families adjust or Mahesh and Aadhira parted their ways?
All the stars had done their role perfectly. Sukanya plays a commanding sister and Cheran plays a practical brother. All the stars are experienced and they did their best.
The film showcases various difficulties in a marriage and it touches the nook and corner of the traditional wedding. Cheran has depicted the characters well and also the situations. But, the problem is that the film turns very much predictable in the second half and towards the climax. Some emotional scenes make us feel if we are watching a TV Serial. Although there are a lot of emotional scenes that touch the audiences, certain scenes seem to be preachy. Some of the songs seem to be purposely inserted and it affects the movie’s flow. But, the film is technically sound.
What’s Not There?
Thirumanam Sila Thiruthangaludan is a good entertainer. But, it would have become a completely engaging film, if some preachy scenes and the songs had been avoided. However, it is good to watch!
