Remya Nikhil

Remya Nikhil or also known as Remya Ravindran is a popular Malayalam anchor, classical dancer, and a model. She was born on April 7, 1982, at Poovarani, Pala, in the district of Kottayam, to Mr. P Raveendran Nair and Mrs. Maya. Remya studied at St. Mary’s Girls’ Higher Secondary School in Pala, and later attended Assumption College in Changanassery for her pre-graduation. She graduated from Alphonsa College in Pala and also attended St. Treasa’s College in Ernakulam. Remya has learned classical dance and won the Kalathilakam in a youth festival.

She got married to Nikhil Menon, a playback singer, and they have one daughter named Maanavi. She started her media career in Kairali TV’s Valkanadi, a family television show, aired on Asianet channel. She moved to Surya TV to become an anchor for Music Moments, a musical show that gives her a niche in the hearts of many Malayalees. She also hosted Asianet’s music reality TV show, Idea Star Singer, Surya TV’s Rasikaraja No. 1, Jeevan TV’s 2 Crore Apple Mega Star, and PriyaSakhi – Be A Woman of Substance. Aside from anchoring TV shows, Remya also hosted several live shows and award functions. She also modeled for various brands and acted in many Mappila Music Albums.
