Krishand

Krishand is a renowned Indian filmmaker, scriptwriter Director, and cinematographer. Krishand did his Master of Design in visual communication from IIT Bombay. He has directed and scripted many short films like Mombattiyan, Bhagavthukaavile Paapikal, Slight, Interval 3D, and Flames. The Short film Flames was the beginning of his career as a scriptwriter. His career began in 2012, and since that, he has won many awards for his work in the industry. He even received a Padmarajan Award for his film Aavasavyuham. In 2020 his career took a turn for good. Krishand made his directorial debut with the film Vrithakrithyilulla Chathuram - A Minor Inconvenience in 2020. The film is about Manilal's journey after the demise of his father. The film won the Kerala State Film Award for Best background music.

Krishand has created only masterpieces one after another and contributed significantly to the Malayalam Tamil Industry. He is a prominent director in the Malayalam film industry. Aavasavyuham: The Atbut Documentation of an Amphibian Hunt is his second movie which won FIPRESCI and NEPTAC Awards for best Malayalam film and many other awards. His most recent work includes the feature film Purusha Pretham (The Male Ghost), released in 2023.

Krishand is a multi-talented person who has also directed multiple web series like the 2018 web series Utasha Ithihasam which received the Best Dramedy award and got nominated in the Seoul Webfest. Ennum Varunna Dhoomakedhu (Everyday Meteor) is a series produced and written by Krishand Himself. His short film "Sinners at the Goddess Abode" was screened at Cannes SFC in 2016. Krishand's hard work and talent made him a respectful director not only in India but in the world as well.
