Sasi Paravoor was born in Paravur in Kollam district in 1952. He is an Indian film director who has worked mainly in the Malayalam movie industry. He completed his graduation from Kollam SN College in 1970. After completing graduation, he gained a Law Degree from Thiruvanthapuram Law Academy, also a Master's degree in law from Law college in 1975. He wrote a short story named, 'Kabani,' which has been published. His mother was also a director of her time, as she made a few films that show the truth. He got married to Krishna Sasidharan. He has two sons; Parvati and Aditya. Sasi has worked in various favored movies like Cyber Cafe (2013), Nottam (2007), Cross Road (2017), Kadaaksham (2010), and Kaattu Vannu Villichappol (2001).
