Born on July 14, 1991, Joseph Shijo schooled at Carmelgiri English Medium High School and Marthoma Higher Secondary School, Chungathara.
Originally from Nilambur, Kerala, the Malayalam video editor initially worked for Swantham Channel in 2012. After that, he switched to Bijith Bala Studios in Kozhikode, serving as an assistant video editor.
In 2015, Shijo joined Flowers TV, Kochi, as a senior video editor. He is credited with shows like the musical reality show Flowers Top Singer, helmed by Sindhu Sridhar. The show features singers below 15 as the contestants and is hosted by Baby Meenakshi.
