Shruthi Rajanikanth

Shruthi Rajnikanth is best known for portrayimg the character Painkili Kunjunni or Pinky Shivan in the Malayalam television series ‘Chakkappazham,’ launched on Flowers TV in 2020. She plays the role of the protagonist Uthaman’s sister in the series helmed by ‘R. Unnikrishnan.’ Rajanikanth was born to Rajanikanth J. and Lekha Rajanikanth. Her father is a businessman, while her mother, from Alappuzha, is a make-up artist. She has a younger brother named Sangeeth R. The actress studied at Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Alappuzha. Later, she pursued her higher studies at Pazhassiraja College, Wayanad, where she did a bachelor’s in mass communication and journalism. After that, she enrolled for a master’s in mass communication and journalism at Bharathiar University, Coimbatore.

Although Rajnikanth shot to prominence with ‘Chakkappazham,’ she worked as a child artist in various Malayalam shows. She forayed into acting as a child itself when she featured on the series ‘Unnikuttan’ in 2001. She also has the credit of starring in the 2002 shows ‘Manasaputri,’ ‘Culcutta Hospital,’ and ‘Sthree Hrudyam,’ which aired on Surya TV. In 2006, she featured in ‘Sundari Sundari’ and ‘Ettu Sundarikulam Njanum,’ where she played the role of Chinnu Mol.
