Mahesh Thakur who has been in industry for 19 years now, is known for his positive and funny yet supportive roles in Indian television.
Personal Life: Mahesh Thakur born on 1 October, 1969 is Marathi from Mumbai, Maharastra, India. He acted in many Hindi films and television shows. Mahesh completed MBA from US, after which he decided to give acting a shot and came back to Mumbai in 1980. Soon he got his first movie Jaaneman, but the film was a flop and did other movies too, but even they did not do well. Nevertheless on seeing the television demand he got offer in serials and he accepted. He has done a crash course in Roshan Taneja’s acting school, but barely attended the classes and use to do theater in college days.
Career: A couple of years later he received the offer to play lead in Doli Leke Aayi Dulhaniya and Kudrat serial, since then he started his career on small screen and worked in Bollywood films too as later. He is seen in Hum Saath Saath Hain as
Anand Babu, Aashiqui 2, Satya 2,
Jai Ho, Faltu, and Karle Pyar Karle. On small screen he worked in TuTu Main Main popular television series, Sparsh, Shararat,
Sasural Genda Phool,
Hudd Kar Di and many more serials. Though his charm did not work on big screen, he managed to win audience hearts through television shows. He played supportive roles in Bollywood movies too.
