P Dhanapal is an Indian Politician. Dhanapal was born on the 16th of May in the year 1951. He was born in Karuppur, Salem. He has a Master’s degree. He belongs to All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam Political Party. He participated in the Tamil Nadu Elections for the years 1977, 1980, 1984, and 2001 years from Sankagiri Constituency. But he never won in all those years. He became a MLA in Tamil Nadu for Avanashi Constituency from May 2016. He preceded D. Jayakumar as the Speaker at the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly for Rasipuram Constituency (2011 to 2016) and Avanashi Constituency (2016 to present).
