Plot

Abraham Ozler is a gripping suspenseful thriller focusing on multiple killings from various parts of South India, all left with a cryptic note each time. We are introduced to Abraham Ozler, who is the investigative head of this case. The movie starts us by showing glimpses of Ozler’s past that still haunt him. The audience witnesses two killings in different regions of Kozhikode, both oddly specific in medical terms. Ozler and his team identify two killers, one who drives the pickup truck and the other who performs the classic “slit” to kill the victims.

After many failed attempts, Ozler and the team narrowed it down to a man named Krishnadas as the killer. Many questions follow their suspicion. Who is this man? What is his purpose for doing this? What is the connection between these murders? Will there be more murders? Who is the second killer?

In his pursuit to find the answers to all these questions, Ozler unravels a tragic tale that caused this calamity. Watch this thriller to find your answers.

Star Performances

Abraham Ozler is a movie that weaves a gripping tale for the viewers and one of the reasons it succeeds is because of the marvelous cast. Phenomenal actors like Jayaram have contributed to the glory of this movie. Jayaram’s portrayal of Ozler, a man with a troubled past trying to resolve a mystery, is exceptional and moving. Also, Mammootty's impersonation of Dr. Alexander leaves the audience in awe.

Analysis

Abraham Ozler is a gripping psychological theory focusing on strange mass murders. The lead investigator of this cryptic happening is Abraham Ozler, who inspires the title. The film excites the viewers with its intriguing storyline and execution of the plot. The makers have done a commendable job at the writing part of the screenplay and dialogues. The character of Ozler is well-crafted and can be related by the audience. A few points could have been improvised.

Initially, the first part of the movie felt boring and could have been executed better. The details about medical science were new for most of the viewers, but its details weren’t given in an interesting way to keep the audience curious. Also, the backstory of Ozler was a gripping twist, but no attention was given to it. The development of this subplot could have added to the charm of this film.
