Plot

Jose is the Circle Inspector in Thrissur. He is from a traditional Christian family from Pala. Jose has been hunting a suitable bride for him. Although Jose seems to be a modern guy, he is still a conservative person inside. Jose finds his soul mate in Linta. Following this, their betrothal function happens. Although Jose is in Thrissur, he visits Pala frequently, due to some family problems. Jose finds out that the issues are created by his dad’s friend Joymon. Meanwhile, he has to deal with an abduction case. During the investigation, he meets Anupama. Anupama’s activities impress Jose and now he is in great confusion whether to choose Anupama or Linta as his life partner. Whom did he marry at the end? Watch the film in theaters!

Star Performance

Anoop has delivered good performance. Gayathri Arun makes her debut in the silver screen and she has given an excellent performance as a cop. Aparna, Anu Sithara and the rest of the cast had done justice to their roles.

Analysis

Venugopan, the director has chosen an interesting script. He made the audiences glued to the seats to know the bride of Jose. However, Venugopan should have concentrated in certain scenes that were so lengthy and meaningless.

What’s There?

  • Performance of the stars is natural
  • Anoop’s characterization as an oscillating minded guy is neat
  • Comedy sequences in the first half

What’s Not There?

  • Draggy scenes in the second half irritates the audiences
  • Climax is not impressive

Verdict

Sarvopari Palakkaran has some comedy sequences and some interesting investigation sequences. Although there are some negative points in the film, the film could be watched once!
