Albert Antoni is a Malayalam director born in Agra on 17 January. He finished his schooling in Marthandam and graduated from Hyderabad. He also studied in The Film Institue of Chennai. Albert’s debut film as director was KanneMadanguka. The movie attracted appreciation and awards. The movie screened in The International Film Festival of India in 2005.
The movie also bagged Best Actress, Best Child Artiste, and Best Processing awards in the Kerala State Film Awards He also directed an Indo-Japanese historical film called Nairsan. Feature films Vaadamalli, 8th March, and Mudra are also part of his repertoire. Throughout his career, Antoni has won awards such as ArvindamPuraskaram for Best Debut Director and Padmarajan Special Jury Award for Best Director.
