Sana Khan, the popular Hindi television actress, is not to be confused with her namesake who has acted in many South Indian films. This talented actress is best known for playing the glamorous character of Lavanya Kashyap in the blockbuster Hindi TV show, Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon, featured on Star Plus. Prior to that, she debuted as the friendly Shefali in season 2 of 'Kitni Mohabbat Hai’, which was aired on NDTV Imagine.
In 2012, she participated in the Femina Miss India pageant and went on to win the Femina Miss Beautiful Smile 2012 title. She played the part of the hot and fashionable Investigation Officer Riya, a dynamic member of the Emergency Task Force, in the Four Lions Film’s action serial '
Arjun' that aired on Star Plus. However, the role, which required her to fight and perform stunts, and the hectic schedule of shooting in multiple locations in a day, took a toll on her health, and she was forced to give up her role in the serial.
Television will always be Sana’s first love. She enjoys shopping for clothes, bags and shoes, but is wise with her money. In her own words, Sana is a sweet girl who likes to be pampered. While she’s not traditional, she’s not a hardcore feminist either. She loves chivalrous men who open doors and pull chairs for a woman and feels that every woman should be treated that way.
In her latest venture, she is making her film debut in the upcoming Telugu movie, Dikkulu Choodaku Rammaya. She’s all set to wow the world from the big screen while confidently facing new challenges, including speaking Telugu, with her lovely smile.
