M. Bhaskar

M Bhaskar is a Tamil film director born on 3^rd April 1935 in Pattamputhur, Virudhunagar district to V S Mariappa Thevar and Janaki Ammal. He holds a bachelor’s degree in English literature with honors from Presidency College, Madras. He did his Master’s degree in Political Science at the University of Madras and then did FL at Madras Law College. He made his debut in the film industry as an associate to veteran director CV Sridhar. Later, he joined Modern Theaters and then Chinnappa Thevar. He had two sons Balaji Prabhu and Mariappa Babu and a daughter Janakipriya. Bhaskar had a severe heart attack and died on 13th July 2013.
